Tom Wendling Resigns
February 25, 2019
The Lost Lake Utility District wishes Tom all the best, and he will be missed. Thank You, Tom, for your service to the Lost Lake Utility District.
In February, Tom Wendling resigned as he is moving from the area. Tom was a nine year member of the LLUD Board of Trustees and spent over six of those years as Chairman. During his time of service on the LLUD, Tom was integral in many projects including the sewer basement remodel; updating the District maps; assisted in sourcing and purchasing generators; inspection and maintenance on the water tower; providing a pension fund for the employees of the LLUD; instrumental in getting a 2nd well and water main upgrades on the East side. During his time as Chairman, our Sewer Plant was awarded “Best Operated Wastewater Treatment Works, Class 3” by the Illinois Association of Water Pollution Control Operators. Tom was instrumental with incorporating a new website, obtaining an online payment source, and procuring the Leak and Line Insurance option.
